Children’s desks are not just pieces of childrens bedroom furniture, they are also repositories of our childhood memories. How many childhood crushes’ names got doodled on a student’s desk? Most of us at one time or another have been forced by circumstance to take chewing gum from our mouth and stick it under our desk. As students in school, we have felt a sense of ownership over our assigned desks, and felt bad that we had to leave them at the end of the school year. Children work well when they are properly seated and their materials are well-placed and within reach. Desks help develop good study habits that will help your child get a good education. It is best to train your kids as early as you can and teach them the proper values that will help them survive the competitive environment in school and even beyond graduation. The kid who started reading storybooks on the battered desk in your house could be the future CEO of a big multinational corporation.
